Kirkpatrick gets out the vote in Northern Arizona

Kirkpatrick continues campaign blitz through Arizona, rallies volunteers and listens to college students


TEMPE — Ann Kirkpatrick spent yesterday in Flagstaff, firing up the hard-working volunteers who are turning out Northern Arizona voters for the last days of early voting and for Election Day. Alongside Congressional District One candidate Tom O’Halleran, Kirkpatrick thanked the volunteers for the record-breaking ballot returns Arizona is seeing this election cycle because of their efforts.

Kirkpatrick started her Flagstaff swing at the Arizona Democratic Party’s Northern Arizona field office, where she and O’Halleran met with volunteers fighting to bring new, principled to the U.S. Senate.

Kirkpatrick and O’Halleran then continued on the campaign trail at Northern Arizona University, where they spoke with college students about working together on key issues such as college affordability, raising the federal minimum wage, and attracting good-paying jobs to Arizona.

Finally, Kirkpatrick and O’Halleran attended a rally of voters and volunteers that were excited to share what motivated them to speak to their neighbors on why they should return their ballots. Volunteers made clear that they are fighting to get get good leaders to represent them up and down the ballot.
